I.C.D. ESSAY COMPETITIONS FOR DENTAL SURGEONS 2005

As usual the ICD (India & Sri Lanka Section) has decided to hold Essay Competitions for Dental Surgeons this year also, on the under mentioned subjects:-

1. ENDODONTIC
   MICRO ORGANISMS IN PERIRADICULAR TISSUES
   1. Do they exist?
   2. Outcome of Endodontic Treatment affected by these organisms.
      
      
2. GENERAL DENTISTRY
   CURRENT STATUS OF VACCINES TO PREVENT CARIES
   
   OR
   
   MANAGEMENT OF INJURIES TO ANTERIOR TEETH OF CHILDREN.

Rules and regulations:

1. The competition is open to all Dental Surgeons in India & Sri Lanka.
2. The competitor must be a member of the Dental Association. Attach a
   certificate from your Secretary I.D.A. / Head Office I D A.
3. Entry must be submitted in duplicate.
4. Essay should be typed on one side of the paper in double space. All
   illustrations, sketches and photos should be numbered and co-related to the text.
5. (a) Name and address of the competitor should be on a separate sheet, attached
   to the Essay as a title page.
   (b) Name or any distinguishing mark must not appear on the Essay.
   (c) Attach a copy of your latest photograph, duly attested to each copy of the
   Essay.
6. Length of the Essay should not exceed 5000 words.
7. Entries should be the original and unpublished work of the author.
8. Entries once submitted will not be returned.
9. Last date of receipt of entries is 30th MARCH 2006.
10. I.C.D.(India & Sri Lanka Section) reserves the right to publish all or any entries, thus received.
11. Decision of the judges shall be final and no correspondence shall be entertained
    on this behalf.
12. Send a copy of the essay in a CD also.
