He did his B . D . S. in 1962 from Govt. Dental College, Amritsar
and M . D . S . in 1976 in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from Govt. Dental College,
Mumbai .He joined Armed Forces after his graduation and worked independently in Various places and field Dental Establishment of Army Dental Corps, Took active part in 1965 Ind o - Pak War and gained sufficient experience of Ist Aid Management of Maxillofacial injuries. After doing his Post Graduation he joined as a classified Specialist as Oral Surgery and worked in various Armed Forces Dental Establishment, including that of a Commandant Armed Forces Dental Clinics , Tyagaraj Marg , New Delhi and also been Prof. & head of the Department of Dental Surgery AFMC, Pune. He has been a recognised Post Graduate Teacher in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of University of Mumbai . He has been an examinor for M . D . S . in the University of Lucknow Calcutta and Nagpur. He has number of Scientific publication to his credit. He was actively involved in Clinical Research Projects of Armed Forces. He has been the President of Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of India. He has also been awarded VISHISHT SEWA MEDAL (VSM) by the president of India in 1986. |
