Dr. Tarun Mahajan

Dr. Tarun Mahajan was born on December 29th, 1960 at Batala, Punjab.  He did his BDS in 1985 from Government Dental College Amritsar and since 1986 he is in private practice at Faridabad.

He is an active member of IDA Faridabad since 1986 and has held various offices including president’s office in 1999 – 2000. 

He is an active sportsman since school and college days.  He was captain of the college cricket team and Vice – President of sports in 1984 – 1985 at Government Dental College Amritsar. 

Dr. Gautam Munjal

He is an active member of IDA and life member of Indian Orthodontic Society.  He has actively participated in various conferences and has presented number of scientific papers.  He is an active Rotarian from Chandigarh and has been a regular blood donor.

Dr. Anil Kumar Agarwal
136/C-9, Sector - 7, Rohini, New Delhi - 110085.

Since 1989, he is in private practice at New Delhi.  He is an active member of IDA since 1980 and has many scientific publications to his credit some of which have been published in Inter – State and National Journals.  He got first prize for the best Scientific Paper contest at the 40th IDA Conference, Lucknow. 

Col. Jatinder Pal Singh was born on 5th May 1954 at Allahbad.  He did his BDS in 1977 from Government Dental College Amritsar.  He joined the Armed Forces in 1979 and did his Post – Graduation in Prosthetics from Armed Forces Medical College Pune in 1986. 

He has been instructor in Prosthodontics at the Air Force Institute of Dental Sciences, Bangalore from 1997 – 2001 and at present he is holding the rank of full Colonel and is the Commanding Officer at Military Dental Centre, Pathankot. 

He is the recipient of Sanya Seva Medal, High Altitude Medal, Operation Rakshak Medal and Golden Jubilee Independence Medal. 

 
Dr. Harpreet Grewal was born on December 13th, 1963.  She did her BDS in 1988 from MAMC, New Delhi and MDS in Orthodontics in 1992 from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. 

She has done a 3 year degree course in MBA in Health Care Administration from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University. 

Since 1992 she has been teaching at MAMC and at present she is the Associate Professor of Orthodontics.  Incharge Pediatric department (dental wing) at MAMC. 

Dr. Rupali Chadha was born on June 12^th, 1966 at Indor.  She did her BDS in 1988 from College of Dentistry, Indore.  She did her MDS in operative Dentistry in 1992 from Nair Dental College & Hospital in Mumbai.  She is the awardee of Colgate IDA Scholarship for standing 1^st in first and second year of BDS.  She obtained two Gold Medals for standing first in final year BDS. 

She has worked for few years at Chandigarh before moving to New Delhi in 1998 where she is practising endo – dontics exclusively, at Delhi Dental Centre. 

She was the first dentist to join Department of Dentistry in the newly established Government Medical College Chandigarh in 1994.  She was responsible for planning and setting up the department from a scratch. 

She is a widely traveled person.  Her ambition is to strive for excellence in the profession.

Dr. Arundeep Kaur was born on June 27^th, 1965 at Muktsar, Punjab.  She did her BDS in 1986 and MDS in Perodontia from Government Dental College & Hospital Amritsar.  She has attended a Computers course in 1997 from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi on Cybervision for Doctors.  Since 1991 she has been teaching Periodontia as Associate Professor at MAMC. 

She has number of scientific papers to her credit.  She has also participated in National and Institutional conferences.  She has been a moderator and chairperson quite a few times and an examiner for BDS and MDS for number of universities. 

Dr. Yogesh Tulsidas Chandarana was born in 1953 at Malad, Mumbai.  He did his BDS in 1975 from Government Dental College & Hospital Ahmedabad.  He worked as Dental Surgeon for 5 years at the Gaekwad Central Hospital Vadodara and since 1981 he is in private practice. 

He has been a very active member of IDA, Baroda branch.  He has held various offices in Baroda and Gujrat state branches.  He was the chairman of CDH three times and conference secretary twice and has also held the office of the president in 1999 – 2000.  During his tenure Gujrat state branch won the IDA all round runner’s up trophy.  He also designed a poster on Anti-tobacco which was later printed in the journal of IDA. 

He has actively participated in National & International Conferences.  He has taken a very active part in the public Dental Health activities.  He has addressed medical practitioners few times on Dental Health Awareness Programmes.  He has also presented interesting clinical cases to the association of ENT surgeons.  He has a unique hobby of collecting stamps on dentistry and he has participated in many district, state and national level stamp exhibitions organised by government postal department and philatelic society.  He has won many medals for his collection of stamps on dentistry through philately. 

During the 13^th APDC held in 1988 he was the man responsible for getting the stamp on Dentistry and special cover released.  He was also a special officer for postal stamps during the 18^th APDC.  He is also a member of Earthquake Relief Committee of Gujrat.

Dr. Ram Pravesh Prasad was born on June 2nd, 1953 at Begusarai, Bihar.  He did his BDS in 1978 from Government Dental College & Hospital, Patna and did his MDS in Prostho Dontics in 1988 from the same institute.  He is in private practice.  

He is an active member of IDA Begusarai Branch.  He was the organizing secretary of IDA 1st Bihar State Conference held in 1998.  He got the prize for being the best branch secretary.  At present he is holding the office of the present IDA Bihar State Branch. 

He has been actively involved in conducting Dental Health education to 1,50,000 students of his district along with Colgate Young India Programme in 1999 to 2001. 

He is the president of Diara Vihash Parishad which is registered NGO which organizes free eye camps, family planning, cancer and diabetic detection camp and health melas in remote villages in Begusarai and is also patron of “Widow & Ideal Marriage Society” Begusarai which organizes dowry less and widow marriages.

Dr. Sanjay Yadav was born on August 15th, 1959 at Lucknow.  He did his BDS in 1982 and MDS in Prostho Dontics in 1985 from KGMC Lucknow.  Since 1986 he is in private practice at Ghaziabad.  He is also attached to Subarthee Dental College Meerut as reader in Prosthetics. 

He has number of scientific publication to his credit.  He has attended and participated in various IDA Annual Conferences with some interesting clinical papers.  He is an active and founding member of IDA Ghaziabad.  He has held various offices. 

Dr. C. B. Sharma was born on January 2^nd, 1948 at Kahnuwan, Gurdaspur. 

He did his BDS in 1971 from Government Dental College Amritsar and MDS in Oral Surgery in 1983 from AFMC Pune.  He served in Armed Forces for 22 years.  After taking voluntary retirement in 1994, he joined DAV Dental College, Yamuna Nagar as Professor of Oral and Maxillo Facial Surgery. 

He has couple of scientific publication to his credit.  He has organised various dental camps in rural areas.  He also takes keen interest in golf.

Dr. Ramesh Shenoy was born on November 19^th, 1952 at Karkala, Karnataka.  He did his BDS in 1976 from Government Dental College Bangalore.  He is in private practice at Karkala since his graduation. 

He is an active member of IDA and has held various offices.  He has been member of Central Council, Vice President of IDA Karkala 2 times and has also held the office of the President IDA – Dakshin Branch in 1995. 

He is fellow of DFA, Indian Academy of Implant Dentistry and also the fellow of Indian Junior Chamber.  He has conducted more than 100 dental awareness and extraction camps in and around Karkala alongwith Jaycees, Lions and several other youth oraganisation.  He has also given more than 100 lectures on dental health awareness in various schools and employees of small-scale industries. 

He is the Vice President of Swarajya Cricketers and Directors – Cooperative Town Service Bank at Karkala.  He is and athlete too.  He has represented Bangalore University during his student days in athletics.
